For the inaugural release on Potato Champion’s musical imprint Champ Discs, we are proud to bring you a release of tracks by Portland’s very own Krycek and Natural Magic.

Krycek is Morgan Hynson. Beginning with his basement disco parties in the early 2000's he has become a stalwart in Portland's underground dance music scene. His deeply compelling and vigorous all hardware live sets (as both Krycek and 1/2 of Acid Farm) are events not to miss. As a DJ, he has honed his ear to the best sounds of AOR, house, disco and acid from around the world. His debut track, 1991, is a spirit lifting, piano driven, vocal sample laiden, thumping house track full of enough summer vibes to keep you feeling like it's 72 degrees in your head all the time.

Natural Magic is Mike McKinnon and Matthew Quiet, two Portland DJ's known around town for their emotional sets, communal all night party Limited Edition, and weekly radio show on XRAY FM. Using only the vocal sample of the original version, they created a slowed down morning jam full of analog synths and live instrumentation that keeps the summer vibes alive.
